Medieval village life
This 30,000 square foot convent, dates back to the 1300s—and sits in the mountaintop village of Labro, which is a 10 minute walk away. The convent sits alone overlooking the nearby valley and the adjacent village where there are three restaurants, a cafe, post office, pharmacy, and a small grocery store. The village is majestic, filled with mostly locals and Italian tourists.
Italian life has a slower pace than many other places—and this is an opportunity for all of us—especially when considering the experience of dining, which often includes locally sourced food, generational recipes, and a deliberate set of courses and time to eat together. At Alchemy Labro, we work with local restauranteurs and producers to bring you a custom menu, according to your needs.
