1300s Convent + Castle
There’s nothing quite like being in a renovated convent from the 1300s. The building was completely redone just 10 years ago—complete with all new facilities and architecture—at that time, they built on top of what was little more than ruins.
You can host a conference or host a movie night—the sky is the limit for this indoor two-story theatre with surround sound, studio lighting, and AV equipment. The theatre can host 20 or 200—so you can host a fairly large event in our space with the convenience of being able to host guests and dine onsite.
With a commercial kitchen and local restauranteur caterers that we love working with, we’ve got you covered when it comes to dining—we can meet any of your needs and serve groups of 10 to 200, indoors in our onsite restaurant, outdoors, or in the courtyard.
The upstairs coworking space will seat up to 35 people and has a mini kitchenette to make coffee and tea as well as serve a light breakfast. There’s a communal refrigerator, microwave, and hot plate in the coworking space. If needed, there’s also a projector, built in sound, and a large projection screen for presentations.
The church is connected to the convent and has seating for up to 100 people should you want to use for an event that’s approved for such use.
Rooms & Suites
There are 14 rooms at Alchemy Labro, which can be setup in all different configurations to host up to 35 people comfortably. Most rooms have on suite bathrooms, but there’s also a shared room with six beds and several triple rooms.
Local accommodations in the village of Labro (a 10 minute walk from Alchemy) range from a real life castle to apartments on the cliff. Rooms in the village will host up to an additional 100 people.
As of the new year in 2019, there’s fiber internet! So your group will be flying. But we only have wifi in the public spaces, not in the rooms—to keep people social and productive with one another.
